A decorative/abstract painting made with acrylics and gold leaf on wood panel. It is inspired by byzantine decorative elements. This is one of the works comprising the series "365" It was a project where I painted one work every day for the length of one year, May 2012 to May 2013. There was no restriction regarding style, technique or subject matter. It was a kind of visual yearly diary, or a way to put into practice the quote attributed to the ancient painter Apelles: 'Not a day without a line"!
