Original artwork description:

A work of art made of four separate acrylic paintings on wood panels joined together as one piece. The title could also be "Four tables", describing what the art work is about: four aspects of tables, eating or writting, from the major cultural periods of the city of Instanbul, Byzantium and Islam, Greece and Turkey. It is a painting not only of plain still lifes but also one commenting on differences and at the same time similarities between different or sometimes contradictory cultures, with a common thread that runs through them.
