Artist's description:

The Puerto Rican parrot is the only remaining parrot in Puerto Rico. There were about 60 birds left in the wild as of 2012.
I drew this bird (part of my Endangered Bird Alphabet Book that I'm working on) onto linoleum, cut it out, printed it onto paper with oil-based ink. Then, I water-colored in its gorgeous colors!

Materials used:

linoleum, oil-based ink, Strathmore paper, watercolor
