Large black and white sailing painting on boxed canvas. These people have sailed through the storm which is now behind them and are using the residual wind from it in their favour to help them safely home.
I try to convey energy and danger, the thrill and excitement of being on the open sea, often alone just oneself against nature. When the weather and sea conditions are wild, the waves threaten to engulf those near but also act as protection keeping the vessel and crew afloat carrying them safely home. Despite the loom of the waves the vessels in my paintings do not appear to be in peril, rather they are merely riding the storm through to the other side.

Bold and striking this artwork will be a talking point in any room.

Acrylic on boxed canvas, the sides are painted so there is no need to frame the artwork.
