Original artwork description:

A semi surreal painting triggered by concern for all the endangered species such as elephants which are on the edge and the damage we are doing to our planet and it's fragile ecosystems.

I've used part of a large foraged leaf as the 'frame' for the focal area and decided to go for a simplistic, semi abstract background to loosely symbolize the polluted oceans, seas and air and provide contrast. The substrate was roughly textured with gesso and acrylics then overlaid with white inktense to achieve the effect of a slightly messy but relatively plain backdrop without unnecessary clutter.

Initialled on the front, signed on the back of the artwork with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Mounted in antique white mount and framed in a dark green stained wood frame.

Please note that the colours of the original may be slightly different to what you see on your screen owing to the varying configurations of individual computer monitors and other equipment. Please also be aware that some of the images you will see on zoom may be larger than the actual artwork (with some possible loss of definition) especially if viewed on a larger screen.

Recycled packaging will be used wherever possible.
