This painting is inspired by olive groves in Mallorca. I love the gnarled wood of old olive trees and their amazing shapes. The brightness of the light is so beautiful in Mallorca and there is a wonderful contrast of the shadows from the tress and the vibrant colours of the earth.
The painting is painted in oils on aluminium and is unframed but ready to hang with fixings on the back.
