About Charlotte Cortazzi

My paintings are inspired by a love of colour and warmth. I live near the sea on the Stackpole Estate in Pembrokeshire close to the beaches of Barafundle Bay and Broadhaven South. I like to try and paint the landscape bringing out the vibrant colours that glint in the sunshine creating paintings that have a sense of remembering happy times and places. I have lived in Pembrokeshire for 25 years with occasional spells of spending time traveling to seek adventure and sunshine. I walk most days to the local beaches to gain inspiration for my paintings and love seeing the changes in the landscape through the seasons. I also sometimes create large sand drawings on the beach, the most recent one on New Years Day of a wolf inside the full moon.
