Original artwork description:

This is a scene that I have been drawn to more than once. Following a painting trip, to the north Norfolk coast, in an area near Morston and Blakeney. I produce several paintings and oil sketches which I have made into finished paintings. I love the light and the marine subjects on that coast. I have, for artistic composition adjusted the angle of the boats as they lay at rest during low tide. This I think produces a good composition and I hope the painting gives a feel of this lovely place. The painting has a traditional gold frame and light slip, which suits the painting.
