Original artwork description:

I have lived through some pretty dark times in the US, but none has shaken me more than what we are going through right now with our current regime. I am no fan of our administration, but I love the US and look forward to getting back to a place of compassion and integrity. This painting was done when all we kept hearing about was building a wall...because that is our biggest problem! Completely idiotic. Yes, we have border challenges, but they are mostly human suffering and oppression challenges that this administration does not want to deal with. I get it, it's complex, but let's not punish those that have already been punished enough and that is what they are trying to escape. Just my opinion, but I believe inclusion and compassion are a better investments than an object that crushes both.

Materials used:

Acrylic, spray paint, glitter, charcoal pencil
