Original artwork description:

Painting with watercolors for the interior “Night romance. The city of Lviv” was drawn from life during my cycling plein air travel across western Ukraine in 2020.

As the lighting, the sky and all things change during the day, it also happens at night. And it is very interesting to observe, and it is even more interesting to draw and convey emotions and impressions from what he saw from nature. The city at night is even more romantic than during the day, there is some kind of mystery in it.

And time is spent on drawing at night much more than during the day, if during the day such a plot can be drawn in a couple of hours, then at night I drew it from midnight to early morning, but the effort was worth it, because only from nature can one truly convey the mood of the night city.

The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
