This painting is part of the series 'Night and Day' which I started in 2020.
The warm, vibrant color palette with vivid shades of orange refers to bright sunlight like we have here in southern Spain. The painting evokes feelings of energy, liveliness, sparkle.
The many layers of transparent and opaque paint give the work great depth and visual texture.
