Living in Pembrokeshire, the coastal landscapes with azure blue sky, lush green meadows and changing colours of the sea synchronizing with that of the sky has started to dominate my current work.
My paintings originate with the Pembrokeshire landscapes and gradually transform into abstract. What I express in my paintings are not always what I see but how I feel about what I see and experience. My goal is to create paintings that people wish to have in their daily lives and which bring them joy and happiness.
This is an original, large, hand painted, seascape. I have used acrylic paint on canvas for this painting. This piece has thick layers of paint in a variety of colours creating a lovely texture. The canvas is also painted on the deep edges. This is painted using quality, deep edge, 100% cotton canvas. It is ready to hang.
