Translucent acrylic washes create a soft, backdrop — misty sunlight, perhaps distant hills. Hand-painted paper rises above horizontal elements and finely marked lines seem to sprout from the gray-threaded paper. Additional glazes and acrylic layers create an understated sense of place.

NOTE: Sold unframed. The canvas is signed, dated and titled on the back. The 1.5-inches edges are finished in white. It is wired and ready to hang.
