The modern painting for the interior "Morning in the Carpathians" is drawn from sketches and photographs from nature following the results of my plein air travel across the Carpathians in 2020.
I traveled by bicycle and lived in a tent.
The previous morning, when I drew this work from life, there was an absolutely amazing fog that lasted for several hours, it was like a river of milk that rises and falls. I got up to paint that foggy view. The owner of the house near whom I was drawing did not know what I was doing, apparently the artists did not draw so often in those places, and he brought me a cup of coffee and sweets from the house, it was so nice, especially when the foggy morning was cold.
The next morning when I was drawing this work from life, he brought me a bottle of homemade milk, bacon and onions, fed the artist traveler, very hospitable people!
The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.
All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
