This is the third of five works inspired by the music of Muddy Waters. I was so taken by the music, to a place where my thoughts are free, full of color, movement and light. Though clearly an abstract piece, there are such elements here with strong ties landscape: flowers, trees, vines. Blues have a strange way of singing the sadness to bring out the joy. You know? Vibrant, cheering, moving, swaying, yes. This work is created on canvas using acrylic, pastel, oil pen and charcoal. I continue to explore color and light as I run far into my mind, listening to the music. This work consists of two panels, measuring 48"x24" each to make a full 48" square or also can be hung separately. It has gallery wrapped, painted sides and is ready to hang.
