Alison took a trip on the ferry from Birkenhead to sketch to Mersey skyline, but it was such a miserable wet day it was difficult to see anything. Well, when you have lemons, make lemonade so she decided to paint what was in front of her - The Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building, known as Liverpool’s “The Graces”, emerging from the mist and rain.
