Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

At first glance two women wearing white transparent dresses are meeting, touching hands in greeting. However, there is both a crescent moon and a full moon in the sky. The former is behind the younger woman whose face is in profile and her hair all aflame. The full moon is behind the more mature woman. Like the moon we can see her face -she gazes steadily at the younger woman. The fiery hair rises like a comet whilst the older woman's hair black, grey and white: spiralling, more akin to a whirling galaxy.

I wanted to get across the idea of a woman meeting herself in the past. What would she say to her younger self?

Graphite and watercolour on grey Khadi paper.

The lovely soft grey tone of the paper forms the basic background colour; white, burnt sienna, black watercolour.
