Two figures become one; a love story emerging, explosions of possibilities and new directions. This piece was painted during time spent in the Spinnerei in Leipzig, East Germany, during one of my artist residencies there. The goal of the piece was color play, energy and excitement through active mark making, and utilizing technique to convey felt emotions.
