Original artwork description:

What kind of mask does life put on us? What are the masks we put on ourselves? Do we wear masks voluntarily or out of necessity?
So what is my own mask?

The artist has produced many paintings, embroidery, motifs and textures on walls, ceilings and various materials for a long time. He took part in many arrangements, restorations, series-film sets with his artistic works in Turkey and abroad. The artist, who channeled his talent and time to these works, could not produce his own inner thoughts in this process. He was earning financially, seeing different countries, different lifestyles, learning many technical skills and developing his own artistic skills. The loss of time, on the other hand, made the artist feel a sense of lack and started to create gaps in his spirituality. He didn't want his work for others to mask his own work and his own inner feelings. He quickly moved away from such works and decided to be himself by reflecting his own feelings, thoughts and art on his paintings.

In this work, the artist touches on the self-masking of the person by combining two figures. He refers to the ornaments and restorations he made with the motifs surrounding the figure's face. Staples to the mask point to one's lost moments. Ornaments also use gold leaf, which is a widely used wealth indicator, as a guide towards the figure's forehead. He places the messages of being passionate, being fearless and being strong in this space, referring to your destiny. He uses the ruby stone both as a symbol of values and as a cosmic cycle. He refers to the old postcard works he produced on the moment and the moment with the letter corner he has cornered. Emphasizing the value of moments and memories, he creates his work called masculine mask with symbolic elements.
