Because I suffer from occasional migraines, I wanted to express visually how it feels as a migraine develops. First the aura, which for me is a mild confusion of vision and later the pain. This painting has helped me to describe to others what it feels like and has helped people to appreciate this very unusual and unnerving sensation.
