This painting is taken from a series of over 100 depicting a bizarre and troubling evening at Willowfield Manor. As the party rages on - as drinks are drunk and music roars - the guests must grapple with the security of their relationships, their place in a class-consumed society, and even their existence in reality as a whole.
'EDITH stares up to this higher floor where yet more guests carry on, leaning against the balustrade in gossip, unaware of the two new additions to the ever-growing congregation.'
