"Make Connections" is one of six paintings created for the "Shift" series that visualizes how we can embrace our connectedness in difficult times to shift and move forward. In this painting, woven strips of hand-painted paper suggest both uniqueness and similarity. I wanted to create a tapestry of many threads, like a gathering of many peoples, empowering and strong. Selected for the Juniper Rag Magazine V3. SHIFT issue published in January 2022.

NOTE: The painting is on 140 lb. (300 gsm), acid-free, archival watercolor paper with a final varnish (front and back) for added protection.
