This painting is drawn from a photo of my friend Ksenia from Ukraine.
We have been friends with her for many years, before we were both engaged in creating jewelry from polymer clay, then both became artists. We have never met, but we have always supported each other, despite the fact that relations between our countries were difficult.

I often looked at her photos from Lviv and admired the beauty of this city. One of the photos I liked the most and I decided to draw this painting based on it. My friend often talked about how wonderful her city is, how good it is there, and when I drew, I felt it.

Now my friend is hiding in the bathroom, hearing the sirens and every day I write to her to make sure that she is all right. My heart is with her now and with all the people of Ukraine.
I really want the nightmare that is now coming to an end.
