Love often brings what subsequently hinders love. The statue presents an everyday philosophy and talks about moments in a life when it is necessary to restrict oneself in a grand sense of the word. The statue is made of fire clay and its smooth surface is pleasant to touch. It catches velvet reflections and plays with reflections of light in a linear way. The sculpture is a unique original: it is modelled by hand and no mould exists, so it isn’t possible to make another one. Plywood is pasted to the bottom of the earthen stand, so it is possible to place the sculpture in an interior without damaging the furniture. It is signed on the stand – K. Klose.
