Oil, cold wax and pigment stick on cradled wooden panel.
I was thinking about how we all feel a bit lost, that it's just part of being human, and that we might as well get over it because it's not going to go away.
In this series of blue paintings I was trying to build up layers of wax so that the words were sort of suspended in it's translucency. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. The blue is an ultramarine R and F pigment stick, which is the best ever blue I have found so far.
