A chance reflection in a window observed and recorded. This piece excited me as it felt no-one could see what I could see, hence the title 'Looking beyond' I made the photo into a photopolymer etching which developed the image on further into an interesting observation of architecture and a restaurant about to open.
This piece is part of a series of reflections I have encountered in and around London.
I inked up the plate with a mix colour of ultramarine, yellow and sepia to give a rich ink-like hue. The plate was printed on a Hunterpenrose press onto Somerset paper.
