Ready to hang if shipped within the USA; for other destinations artwork will be rolled in a heavy duty cardboard tube; oil on canvas 30x30; Lonely Planet documents the displacement the angst caused by cultural and physical dislocation; with experience and time, the tensions between the pull of the homeland to the adopted land continue to shift and play into my work. Several recent paintings deal with my experience with change and the rate of transition in the 21st century. The mashing of global cultures and thought can be felt in the bewildering cast and the unprecedented etiquettes in several works. River of no Return, Immigrants etc. are part of the recent series that project the angst of entering a new era in human existence.
