These five look out to the sea, embracing the waves and the unknown adventure in front of them. A captured moment when time slows down and all you can focus on is the memories you are creating.

Framed dimensions are 105 x 105 x 5.5 cm. Unframed 100 x 100 x 3.5 cm.

I have painted seascapes and many other topics in oils on canvas since 2015. Always with the aim to create a style which sings to me. To find a way of creating a scene and a style that has processes a structure within it that hasn't been created before. The traditional seascape has been replicated over and over throughout history, I want to find a new way of telling this story.

Materials used:

thick oil paint on canvas, with course brushes. Finished with a satin protective varnish
