A sculpture carved from a single block of clay, and then fired with oxides and gold lustre to create an industrial piece and possibly a comment on 2020.
I have found the creative process almost meditative, loosing hours carving one link at a time, each one influencing the position of the next and in turn determining the shape and form of the whole.
A bold, statement piece.
