Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by a client's cat that I feed when they are on holiday. She is very fastidious and loves to groom herself. I just caught her 'mid-flow' as I took photo's of her and couldn't resist capturing this pose. It took days to paint as it is painted twice - once with the red under layer and then again with the fur strokes. The under-painting gives the black fur some colour and warmth. This canvas comes ready to hang, no need to frame.
