Original artwork description:

Original oil painting by jean-Pierre Walter.

🎨To create this piece as I wanted, I used the 15th century Flemish method which consists of a grisaille covered with thin layers of transparent paint also called glaze. This allowed me to almost make the antique Römer glass disappear thanks to the chiaroscuro while I used a lot more material for the peeled lemon to reinforce its presence with the viewer. This results in a high quality piece whose brilliance of colors will seem to come from the painting itself.
