Original artwork description:
My work usually remains untitled until I have completed it and looked and thought about it for some time. This one's title came quite quickly after seeing the shocking sight of the landslip near Charmouth in Dorset. I live in North Devon and whilst we are close to the sea and coastal area, we are also prey to coastal erosion, particularly near to the wide open space of Westward Ho! bay and the dune area.
The work is in my current favourite medium of oils and cold wax and is quite textured. It is on a primed canvas sheet and unframed at present.
