Original artwork description:

Abstract painting on paper, "La Trace" is full of symbols. The artist's clever use of contrasting materials and colors creates graphic effects that give rhythm to the composition. The black stain representing the "trace", subject of this work, is illustrated by tire tracks in the middle of the painting, suggesting the ephemeral acts left behind over time. JL Lacroix chose to use warm hues reminiscent of parchment. For the final touch, he added white handwritten calligraphy.
Acrylic paint on Arches 600g paper and mixed media.
Unique work signed "JlL" lower right, with a JlL stamp on the back. Certificate of authenticity.
