Original artwork description:
A study of a Koi carp taken from several pieces of reference that I collected to begin a small series of fish paintings.
Painted from photographs that I took on a walk in Oxford in Spring I built up the background using layers of different green to emphasise the multi- coloured flowers.
I used acrylic paint on canvas and finished with a gloss varnish. The painting is signed on the back. The edges of the canvas are painted black and two d-rings are attached with screws to the wooden frame of the canvas on the back of the painting, a length of cord is included too so that it is ready to hang.
The painting will be well wrapped and packaged in a cardboard box and shipped with a tracking number.
