This etching was made in response to a hike through the Peak District on a snowy day. It was made using a small homemade print studio, utilizing recycled copper, hand sanded back into a functioning etching plate. Each etching in the edition is unique, and hand printed with a 100 year old press.
Materials used:
Copper etching plate with a hand shaken aquatint, acid etched multiple times, before inking and printing through a high pressure etching press.
