Original artwork description:

I'd been musing about a particular photo for years; always in the back of my mind, always a stopping point on my tour of interesting memorabilia. It called to me forever, and finally I answered. For me, this image represents our entanglement with our own power; the power to create our own reality in such unlimited ways that it defies "common sense". As an idealist, I believe in that reality. We realize so little of our true potential.
