Original artwork description:

From the first moment I saw the view of the valley with mountains on both sides I wanted to try to do a picture of it all. I knew I would struggle to fit the whole view into just one picture and decided to focus in on smaller details of the scene instead in my first pictures. For my last picture I decided to try to fit the whole valley into one picture. As with most of my pictures it started as a drawing of the view and I edited out some details as I worked. As it developed I liked the feeling of the piece and decided to keep it as more of an impression of Taitungs’ mountains and valleys rather than trying to add more recognizable details into the scene. It’s actually quite rare for my drawings to differ from the subject so much, but it was a fun change to let it grow organically whilst still having the view of the valley as inspiration and for reference and details. I feel it shows how the amazing Chihshang and Taitung landscape affected me and maybe gives a glimpse of how the area looked to the original settlers many years ago.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
