An expressive portrait with a narrative. Painted over collage of urban photos the painting suggests the subject is in a city, she wears a red beret and bright red lipstick which is both seductive and striking. There is ambiguity in her mood as there are the suggestion of tears running down the cheeks but why they are there and are they from relief or loss, is up to the viewer to decide.
