You are seeing a digital copystand image of the actual hand printed photograph that is for sale, it has not been manipulated.

It was shot on colour negative by me when I was living in Miami & hand printed by me in the darkroom in Miami.

It is a 20"x16"hand print artists proof, in today's digital world you will not see many hand printed photographs especially colour it is very difficult to do as there is no safelight so you are working in a darkroom that is completely dark,
I also like to expose past the edge of the neg to get a black border around the image, again very difficult to do & you can only print full frame.

All of my fine art photographs are my personal work, they are not commissioned, or set up, you are seeing a moment in my life happening in front of me exactly as I saw it through the viewfinder.

This is one of my favorite shots, it is very powerful & is controversial, it was part of a series of reportage images on the Fetish S&M scene in Miami, not only was it technically difficult because of the low available light but also to be there to be able to take pictures.
I really like the composition the colour's & the slight motion blur.

Hand held at 1/3rd of a second at F2.8.
