I love powerful pictures, I like photographs that make you stop, look & think, trying to figure out what is going on in the photograph ? Maybe you will make your own interpretation of what is happening ? To make great images I use a simple but difficult technique. I manually expose, manually focus with the lens wide open, hand hold using available light on slow film. Using this simple but tricky technique every time I shoot, means I can concentrate on whats going on in the viewfinder, and get the best composition. It also gives my work a recognizable style.
