Artwork description:

The day we arrived in Port Douglas, Northern Queensland, it was slightly drizzly and overcast, but we were determined to enjoy 4 Mile Beach so set out for a walk along it. when the rain eased and sun tried to break through, the clouds were reflected in the wet sand left by the receding tide.

The only other creatures we could see on the beach were this man throwing a ball for his very excited dog.

Then, on one occasion when the dog returned with the ball, he sat at his master's feet for a few moments, which is when I took this picture. I'm not sure if the man or the dog needed the rest more.

As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future. A double mount inside a black or white contemporary box frame sets this image off beautifully.

Alternative sizes, print methods and substrates are available. For example:

7" x 5" digital print on archival photographic paper in 10" x 8" matt black frame: £ 25
16" x12" C-type print on archival photographic paper in a 20" x 16" black matt frame : £ 99
24" x 18" premium quality 100% cotton stretched canvas ready to hang: £149
18" x 14" Giclée print on Hahnemühle photorag paper in a 24” x 18” contemporary box frame: £195
