An early summer morning low tide reveals the swirling patterns as water begins to replenish the River Severn - one of the highest river tidal ranges in the world. The ancient petrified poles you see are completely covered well before high tide.
As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future. A double mount inside a black or white contemporary wooden box frame sets this image off beautifully.
