The two tower cranes on site made meant clambering up a dozen or so steel ladders.

    Commercial photography means going where the customer wants - even if it is 140 feet up to the top of a tower crane. I archived the development of Aldershot's new hotel, supermarket, restaurants and cinema complex in the town centre for the developers Citygrove PLC. The two tower cranes on site made meant clambering up a dozen or so steel ladders. This was the first operational day of the crane. Luckily it was a still, bright October day, or I might not have gone back up on future visits.

The two tower cranes on site made meant clambering up a dozen or so steel ladders. This was pretty much near the end of the time the tower cranes were on site. As you can see, the fabric of the buildings is more or less complete.

    This was my exhibition at the Brewery Arts Centre in my nearest town, Cirencester. It's a cracking place to visit if you're ever in the area. Artisans of all types have studios, and of course, their handiwork is for sale.
