'Hickory Dickory Dock' is an original, highly detailed, still life, watercolour painting using Daniel Smith paints on Arches Aquarelle paper. It depicts a rusting, broken clock face, incorporating gold and silvery hues which compliment the colours of the harvest mice. I've made use of my iridescent paints for this painting, as well as the more granular ones and I'm very pleased with the resulting textural effects. The rich, lamp black background ensures that the colours really pop, resulting in a striking image that could grace any room in the home or business.
Measuring approximately 16.5 x 12 inches, this painting is presented in a white mount within a complimentary yew wood frame with a gold sight edge, to a total size of about 24 x 20 inches, ready to hang.
