'Daydreaming' is a very realistic portrayal of a reclining young chimpanzee, created with coloured pencils on Strathmore 400 paper. Coloured pencil work for me, is the most demanding and time consuming of all the media I use, but I have really enjoyed creating this one and I think the result shows it. My subject's cheeky little face looks out from the image and off into the distance, almost as if he is dreaming about another place, another time.
Measuring 17 x 11.5 inches, this drawing has been mounted in white and framed in a luxuriously chunky, 1.5 inch deep, brushed pale gold fronted frame with grey sides. A perfect match.
