Henri is a very long cat sculpture, part of the CalbinoOz series, made from calabash wood.
He belongs to the kings family...
His ears are oversized, as is often the case with cats in this series, and his eyes are a little shy in the face of a turbulent world.
He is wearing a sage green and pale blue ribbed jumper with long, slightly flared sleeves, and the rest of his body, made of worked natural calabash wood, looks like a long dress.
The work is mounted on a black iron base to give it greater stability, as calabash is a light, hollow wood.
Materials: calabash wood, surfine wood cellulose, blown glass, acrylic paint and water-soluble oil, protective varnish.
Unique piece signed at the bottom of the skirt.
Dimensions : H 50 x W 22 x D 12 cm
