Artist's description:

A depiction of a dog and a Robin chatting by the washing line on wash day. It is made entirely from recycled wood and timber with a bit of wire and some flocking, all finished off with acrylic paint.
The clothes on the wire line are made from thin wooden sections with hooks attached at the back for hanging, which allows them to move back and forth on the line, especially if placed near a window or similar. Also they are totally detachable, meaning that they can be interchanged and put back on the line in any order you so choose.

It was inspired by my spaniel looking quizzically at a robin sitting on our clothes line and it incorporates the essential ingredient of any wash, notably the single sock!
