Original artwork description:
This is a very new one, created in December 2020. There is no particular context with this one, I wanted to create texture and warmth. I expect the whole christmas excitement and happiness was being absorbed at the time and I just wanted to share the pleasure and joy of the season.
As we are in lockdown again, there was no family to share that with, so it has been expressed in paint.
The title has been borrowed from a dear friend and guitar genius, Gordon Giltrap. He and his wife Hilary visited us in 2019 and made music in my studio.
