The Tour de France is actually a team-game! They work together to keep their main rider in the correct place to maximise the points. Here the peloton spreads across the road and the riders show their true colours.

This work developed as part of the TdF series of six paintings from images in Yorkshire and France in 2014. The others in the series can be seen in Exhibition earlier in the year in the second picture.
