This painting captures the beautiful woods near my home in the Peak District during Summer, walking here is lovely. Sun rays filter through the leafy glade merging with pink flowers and grasses suggesting campion and anemone.

An original artwork, one of a kind, this painting has been created with high quality acrylic paints on a deep edged canvas and is ready to hang. I use impasto techniques applied with a palette knife in multi layers, which creates a contemporary painting and if you look closely you can see the first layers applied in places.
